A BIT OF HISTORY It is incredible what we can accomplish when we use natures given resources in place of her taken resources. The fast-growing hemp plant presents endless uses and an opportunity to revert to pre-industrial atmospheric carbon levels. Interesting how the use of HEMP dates back 8,000 years and our declaration of independence…both drafts, were in fact printed on hemp. If it wasn’t for Mr. Hearst and Mr. DuPont and his accountant Mr. Mellon we might be in a much cleaner world. Mr. Hearst owned millions of acres of timber and Lammont Dupont and Mellon owned the Nylon required to convert Hearst’ trees to paper. Henry Ford was not even influential enough to push hemp passed their influence. Finally in 2018 the farm bill ushered in a new era and with it the conversion of our everyday things to hemp and other bio-resins.
